Fiber Fever

Fiber-to-the-Home Technology or FTTH is a technology now considered the future of broadband communication. Fiber-to-the-home or Fiber to the premises is a broadband network that uses optical fibers to provide a faster internet connection.
The connection is provided by connecting the cable from a central point directly to the residence or premises of the customer.

This enables companies to provide uninterrupted high speed internet connection to their subscribers.
Copper connection is another such technology used by companies.
However such connections face problems like being easily disturbed by the surroundings.

High bandwidth requires high frequencies which easily get affected by noise, disrupting the signal.
There is no solution for the problems faced by having copper connections yet.

Fiber on the other hand uses light to communicate.
It is not affected by disturbances in the environment and is thus able to carry high bandwidth easier than copper, resulting in less frequent losses of signal.

All over the world companies are using this technology to provide high speed connections to their subscribers. FTTH or FTTP network was introduced in India in the year 2008 by Radius Infratel Private Limited located in the capital city, Delhi.

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched the same technology in Jaipur in 2010. Atria Convergence Technologies (ACT) introduced the technology in Bangalore 2012.

Beam Fiber, a subsidiary of ACT, launched the technology in the city of Hyderabad in 2013. Other companies also provide the technology in certain other locations, for example Airtel provides it in certain parts of Delhi.
As this technology makes it possible for companies to provide faster speed at lower prices, companies are able to provide people with good offers.

Beam Fiber for example provides 1 Mbps speed at just Rs.
399 and 15 Mbps speed at just Rs.

999 whereas other companies which do not use the FTTH technology provide 1 Mbps speed for Rs.

1000 or Rs. 999 or more.
The world today is increasingly shifting to the fifth dimension, popularly known as the cyber space where the entire communication process is performed online.
All information is shared online and now people can connect with each other faster than the traditional mediums of communication.

Speed thus becomes an essential part and a high speed internet connection is desired by everyone. Fiber-to-the-home technology gives people high speed internet connection at low prices which makes it easier for them to connect to their loved ones and colleagues faster and without any problems.
